Reduce Blood Cholesterol
Lowering or reducing cholesterol is very significant for everyone including people with or without heart disease or stroke. Many people who have cholesterol in their blood never know whether they have high cholesterol or a low cholesterol level. This is because they don't comprehend or know the difference between the HDL, LDL and the total cholesterol. But everybody should know these as it is very essential and important for you to know whether you have a high cholesterol level before it starts harming your system.
Cholesterol in your blood can be lowered or reduced by a variety of means that starts with your change in weight loss, diet, and exercise followed by a drug therapy. Drug therapy normally begins if other methods of lowering your cholesterol have failed. Reducing cholesterol is very easy, and doesn't require any high power drugs or surgery because a simple blood test shows what cholesterol level you are having and whether you are at high risk of heart disease. Do you know your diet alone may be capable of lowering your cholesterol from 7-30% depending on how restrictive your dietary plan is?

There are mainly two types of cholesterol that is found in our blood. One is the LDL (low- density lipoprotein) or the bad cholesterol and the other is the HDL (high-density lipoprotein) or the good cholesterol. The LDL clogs your arteries and makes it narrow stopping the blow flow resulting in a heart attack or a stroke, whereas the HDL attaches itself to the bad cholesterol and helps it to get out of the body by the help of the liver, so it makes it clear that the HDL helps lowering the bad cholesterol so the more the HDL your blood has, the more you are risk free of heart attacks or strokes. The cholesterol in our blood mainly comes from the foods that we eat which are rich in fats and naturally high in cholesterol like red meat, eggs, high fat milk products and other processed foods. Therefore the main idea is that we must replace all high fat foods with low fat foods so that all our bad cholesterol gets out of the body and cannot cause us any harm.
Another great way of reducing the cholesterol is to do regular exercise and physical works. This is because, exercise helps in burning the extra fats and it also burns the cholesterol. If you walk for at least 30 minutes a day, four to five days a week, then it's proved that the effects of this workout is very positive on your cholesterol level and also lowers it a lot. So from now on stop thinking about your cholesterol level because it's not going to cause you any trouble if you take healthy foods (definitely foods with low fats and must avoid fried foods) and do regular exercises or physical activities to keep your body fit and healthy because after all it's your life - you have to save and color it.
